Nautilus Glow Aesthetics - Skin Care Clinic
Concept: Nautilus Shell
Brief:
Hillcrest Medicross, situated in KwaZulu Natal, plans to expand by introducing a dedicated space for cosmetic dermatology services. Primarily focused on skin care, the clinic provides treatments such as chemical peels, wrinkle fillers, microdermabrasion and laser resurfacing. The interior design directive is to create a healing environment with a scientific yet elegant ambiance while meeting the criteria for a minimum five-star rating on the GBSCA Interior Tool.
The allocated space needs to include a well-equipped ground floor with an open-plan reception area, waiting space for 8 clients, functional dermatologist suite, a Skin Care Bar and a small juice bar. The first floor houses five therapy rooms tailored for specific treatments, a small waiting area and a sundries storeroom. The overall design approach seeks to seamlessly blend functionality, regulatory compliance and aesthetic appeal to provide an optimal setting for cosmetic dermatology services within the existing Hillcrest Medicross facility.
