Concept: Shattering the Glass Ceiling for Women
Brief:
Interior Design Collab 2022: Interior Design Collab is an opportunity for 2nd and 3rd-year Vega Interior Design students to work in predetermined teams to develop and execute innovative and meaningful solutions for real-world Interior Design challenges.
Veuve Clicquot requires the creation of a flagship champagne bar in Rivonia, Sandton. In partnership with a renowned chef, the goal is to deliver a unique tasting experience with primary focus on enhancing patrons' overall experience with the space, the product, and the brand. The design concept centres around "accessible luxury," combining sophistication with approachability. The flagship bar will accommodate 120 seated guests with a mix of table configurations, including two, four, and six-seater tables. Key features include a welcoming reception area, a statement bar with bar seating, a VIP section, designated selfie spots, feature lighting, outdoor seating, bathrooms, a DJ booth, and a waiter station.
